Seagate PC Hard Drive Do Work on Mac Computers!

Just a few days ago, I went to Wal-Mart because I saw that they had a deal on Seagate hard drives. My MacBook has been losing space by the day with all the video files I have and I knew it was time to get an external portable hard drive. Once I saw that you could get a 320GB hard drive for $69.00 I was happy! And not to mention, they had it in a lime green color! When I saw the color, I knew I had to have it!

The problem was that when we got there, I looked at the package and noticed that it was for PC, and didn’t mention Mac anywhere!

Disappointed, I left Wal-Mart without getting my lime green hard drive that I wanted so much. I then realized while we were at another store about formatting the hard drive. So then I got on my iPhone and started looking to see if I could get this PC hard drive to work on my Mac!

I finally found the solution! It is possible to reformat your PC hard drive and use it on your Mac! Right on seagate’s website it says that the only difference between the Mac and PC hard drives is that they are already pre formatted. So you just have to reformat it to work with your system!

If there are any of you out there wanting this hard drive, go get it! It is definitely worth it. Make sure to come back for a follow up post where I tell you how to reformat your drive!

Today I was on eBay, and was looking for flash drives when I found these cool things on there. They are wristbands with 2GB of storage, they are brand new and really an amazing invention. What you simply have to do is unhook the wristband and insert it into your computer. This is a really great thing for people who like to carry certain files with them. I ordered 2 of them so far, blue, and orange. With the orange one, it comes with security software built in it so it requires a password to obtain the files and information on the drive.
