Visa Giftcards! Solution to Canadian App Store!

This is my new favorite thing to buy when I go to the store! Not only is it a good thing to buy yourself, but if someone is looking to get you something for your birthday, or a Christmas present, this is the thing they should get you!

What it is, is a Prepaid Visa gift card. They come in $25, $50, $75, and I think it goes all the way up to $500! What this card does is allows you to shop anywhere Visa cards are accepted. Now that means, you can go to Wal-Mart, or Walgreens or some random store, and use your Visa card to make a purchase! The best thing about this Visa card is that you can use it for online shopping! If the site your using accepts Visa, you’re in luck!

One of the things I use my Visa Gift cards for is with PayPal. I don’t know about any of you, but I love buying things on eBay, and if you are like me and are not quite of age to get approved for an actual credit card, this is an amazing thing to get!

If there are any Canadians reading this right now, please make sure to read this, it is really a key feature that this card can be used for!

I don’t know how many people know this but in Canada, you can not buy applications from the App store with iTunes store credit. You are able to in the US but not in Canada, which really is a downer. My main thing that I am using these cards for is iTunes. I live in Canada and the iTunes gift cards don’t work for buying applications for my iPhone, so I use this card. My thinking is, if I am going to go pay $25 for a iTunes gift card, why not spend $25 on a Visa gift card and be able to get apps too!

The next time you are at the store, pick one of these up! They can be a real handy thing to have!

iPhone Wallpapers!

I have recently created another webpage just for the purpose of iPhone wallpapers. I know how much I love changing my iPhone wallpaper so I thought I would share all the ones I use with other people so they can enjoy them too. All you need to do is go to the right side of this website, and click on the picture of the iPhone at the top, it will then take you to another webpage of mine and there you can browse through and look for wallpapers you would use. Once you find the ones you want, you click on them and click download and then from them get them on your iPhone by whatever method you use. You can watch a video I made to learn a little bit more about it.

An Apple Christmas!

This Christmas was so great! I did get my iPhone 3GS! It is the 16GB White version, and I love it! I was unbelievably excited when I opened up one of my presents and inside was that iPhone! Now I will definitely have lots more things to blog and make videos about. I will have lots of App reviews, case reviews and many things like that.

I also got an Apple Universal Dock for Christmas and it’s so great because I can charge my iPhone, sync it and have a place to sit it when I am in bed. Not knowing that my iPhone came with a dock connector cable, or just standard cable, my mom bought one for me anyway, but I’m not going to open it unless I need it.

For Christmas, I also got the new Apple Remote so now I can use it to control my iPhone and Macbook. Along with that, I got lots of iTunes gift cards so I can buy lots of music, movies, and tv shows for my iPhone! The only thing I am disappointed in is that in the Canadian iTunes Store, you can’t buy apps with your gift card balance, you need to have a credit card. I do have a credit card so It won’t really be a problem but it would just have been much more easier if I could buy it with my store credit.

Along with some clothes, and DVD’s, books and other things, I had a really great Christmas! I also got $200 from my parents to just go shopping with, and I am pretty sure I want to get a MobileMe account, but I would love it if you would leave me a comment telling me what I should buy with that money. Particularly items iPhone related, so if you have some suggestions for a really good case or something like that, let me know!

Merging PDF Files

With a new project I am creating for the online world, I needed to have multiple PDF documents into one PDF file for people to download. So looking though my Mac, I couldn’t find anything that would automatically do it so I started to research and came across this website. It is called MergePDF.net and what it does is takes a maximum of 10 PDF documents and combines them into one file and from there you can than save it to your computer and do with it what you will. The only restriction is that each file needs to be below 5MB. Now if your thinking that you need to combine more than 10 files, what I think you can do is combine your first 10, then upload that 10 page PDF file along with 9 other pages and it will merge the 10 page PDF and the new 9 pages into one and you can keep doing it like that. I think this is a really great thing and because it is free you don’t need to waste your money on software that will give you the same results. So check this out if its something you are looking for.
